Quick question - anyone here got any idea what fglrx stands for or means? A few friends of mine are of the opinion that it stands for eff gee ell arr ex, or fuglurks, but I'd value your own input. Or just a (mis)educated guess!

The FGL part stands for FireGL which is the professional 3d cards from ati.

The R may mean radeon?

x could be xorg/xfree86?
