I am fairly new to Ubuntu still - and I haven't yet been able to find a help system development tool (somewhat like the html help workshop, or robohelp etc but for linux - so I suppose it would compile Yelp files or something like that). I made a post in the beginners section, and was advised to make it here instead. The other thread is:

One way to have a help system is a wiki - if you always have web access. You can get free wiki Like my http://learnPython.pbwiki.com/ at pbwiki.com Simple, editable in browser by many people.
Another cool thing is mind-mapping programs, like kDisert and friends.
Surely there is a tool used to create all help files - maybe someone here uses it and can help... I do web apps, so I put help files into a wiki :-)
