Have you tried checking out some of the FTP mirrors on Debian's website?

Why can't you install Ubuntu? :D

FTP mirrors:checked many of them.
Ubuntu: If you knew how to get it to run on 32M ram it would certainly be great. I tried with the xubuntu cd. Takes forever to load. Turned it off after half an hour.
I have damnsmalllinux on the laptop and need woody cds to install additional software.

Ah, I see. A quick google search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=debian+woody+.iso&btnG=Search) reveals a few pages that may be contain something close to what you're looking for. As I'm sure you well know, it's going to be a little bit difficult to get old software (that goes for everything, doesn't it? :D)...
