Your thoughts about this TFT

i'm planning to buy a TFT and it would be very kind if you can share your thoughts with me.

Basiclly i am using my Computer for work ( Text prcoessing, php devel ect.) and also for watching DVB-s (the european digital satelite standard)

After some browsing i concluded that the Benq FP71V+ has some very good test results and seems to be a good product. see here (http://www.benq-eu.com/products/LCD/?product=515&page=features)

Does sb. own this TFT ( how does it work with ubuntu) , or do you have other suggestions for me?

I suggest an iiyama .. I've read some about the E435 ... if I had the money to buy one I would (if my current monitor would give up on me)

I have an iiyama, chose it over a similarly priced Benq and am happy with the decision. It was good value for money and has been completely dependable these past two years without problems. Ubuntu and others pick it up fine. The auto-adjust button works nicely going across platforms and distros.
