Did anyone know about this?? I havn't read about it anywhere... I just discovered it now when I pressed the mittle button on my mouse and all the icons shaded (ofcourse, then I had to look into what was happening, so I tried again :O)

Thunar is far better now than it was 1 minute ago...

Edit:
(and by all means, Thunar was a great filemanager even before :-P )

Maybe I'm just afraid of new things, but I've always turned off mouse gestures every time I had the option. I've never given it a shot. With so many of you so interested in mouse gestures, I now feel like I'm missing out and should give it a try...

Hmmm... :)

Yes, one of the nicer things in Thunar; been documented for a while now.

From >> Thunar FAQs (http://thunar.xfce.org/pwiki/documentation/faq)

Thunar currently features basic support for so called “mouse gestures” in its icon view. You can use these “mouse gestures” by holding down the middle mouse button (usually the mouse wheel) while the mouse pointer is on the background area of the icon view component (any area that is not covered by an icon or a text). Now you can move the cursor into four directions to perform certain actions, which are described below.

Left - opens the previous visited folder
Up - opens the parent folder
Right - opens the next visited folder
Down - reload the current folder

Sorry for bringing this up again but:

Is it possible to change so that you use the rightclick instead of middleclick?
