Practice what you preach. Bill Gates has been a cancer on the computer industry for a long time. He has used illicit and unethical business practices to get where he is today. While preaching about protecting intellectual property, while he was running Microsoft, the company was convicted of violating IP right of another company in France by continuing to used licensed code after the license agreement expired. Microsoft dragged the battle on so long that the other company could no longer remain viable and went under.

Learn the history of this man's business practices before touting him as great. It simply isn't true.

It is not the fact that Bill Gates does give billions of dollars in research it's that he should never have had billions to give in the first place.

It is like the king that robs from the poor and the middle classes to give a small personal slice to researchers and programs which are of note and worth to get himself a good name so as to mask his tyrant nature.
