nice game!

please make the download available as a package also we don't want users to have too many repositories since this only increases the risk of breakage.

This package will get into universe. see :

http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/UniverseCandidates

This are the guys who maintain universe : http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/MOTU

I'm going to ask for a backport in the backports forum. So everyone can play this game and just install it using apt-get / synaptic.

your package works for me :)

to be honest I have never build a package myself except using checkinstall see : http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=36786

(checkinstall isn't related to kubuntu)

If you like to help out ubuntu and like packaging maybe you should join the backports team or MOTU. I'm sure they will help you with learning how to package properly.

but checkinstall is fine to use at your own computer :)

just google a bit and search to forums / wiki / debian site ... I'm sure there's tons of information. Also if you plan on joining MOTU or backports I'm sure they'll help you.

Come to the channel #ubuntu-motu and get your package reviewed. If it passes muster, you can get it into Ubuntu.

the universecandidates wiki page says : "DanielHolbach: I take care of it"
So maybe you should contact him on that irc channel
