I am working with a huge data set and I was wondering which spreadsheet program is better Kspreadsheets or OpenOffice? I am more curious about limitations of each than feel or preference. I know Excel is limited to some 35,000 rows and 2000 columns what about these programs?

Calc can't handle large spreadsheets nearly as well as Kspread, but it has a more complete set of features. Depends on what is more important to you, large sets of data or a decent range of functions and competent list support.
