Can someone be a hero, and make a .deb for the latest >2.2.13 OpenOffice.org release? The open office in Synaptic is way way way out of date, and it needs to be updated in a bad way. I know that's the joy of installing out of Synaptic, but >2.0.4 is a little to out-of-date. It's like finding a pack of hotdogs from two years ago in the bottom of your chest freezer, and wondering if it's safe to eat.

Anyway, anyone?

Thanks,

Moose

Bah,

Now I feel stupid! After looking around for a few minutes, and not coming up with anything. I come across the HowTO:, and also find out that the Feisty Fawn is going to ship out with OOo 2.2.

Anyway, sorry about the post then.

Mods feel free to Delete post!

They're safe.
OpenOffice.org, I mean. Wouldn't trust the hot dogs.
