View Full Version : Any good open source News Manager?

Hi all,
I've been running PhpNews on my website for about six months now, but I'm not so very satisfied, since there's no real anti-spam support, apart from the digits test (I don't know how it's called), and it's not so so user friendly for people who don't know much about html and css, since there is no WYSIWYG editor for posting news. I am not the only one who is writing news, and anyone can subscribe, so I'm really looking at something more user friendly. Also I would like to have some more options to manage categories and how they are visualized.

I have nothing against PhpNews, I really appreciate their effort, the problem here is me, since I have no knowledge of PHP (and no time to learn it right now), and I can't modify anything.
So I am looking at another serious open source solution, since I was not able to find anything better.
Also it would be very useful to be able to import the news I've got so far into the new news manager...

Do you guys have any good suggestion?

Thanks a lot for your time!
