I have Ubuntu 7.04 Beta running on my Xbox 360 so I thought it would be nice to share some information.

is this still available? i heard there's a hack or something on xbox 360 to stop linux from installing. is this still working? what about backward compatibility and downloaded games? they still work with xbox after or you need cd them and compile them back in or something? also, can you install pc games and run them on xbox 360 console? and does the drivers work? the xbox video card is like a 9800 nvida so is still apparent after the install? please and thank you =)

so i was just wondering if it is possible to upgrade to 8.04 after installing 7.10 on the 360

This appears to be severely outdated. Would love to see a tutorial for those who have recently purchased 360's...

I dont actually thing any of this is possible anymore since its much more locked down now =/..
though I second the request on getting ubuntu or any linux installed on the 360
