Why threre is no a words filter in ubuntuforums?, most forums use them to filter inappropriate words in posts such as this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=202113)

I personally don't like the idea of censorship... like it or not, it's a real word.

There is, we have a light filter in place. We would like the forums to be as inclusive to all people as possible, so we haven't tightened down the screws on censorship, but we will remove any instance of certain words.

Be considerate.
We get members as young as 13 year old and as high as 60+ on our forums. They deserve respect. Some of us just don't feel comfortable in an environment where everybody is using foul language to express theirselves. Would you like your 13 year old son/cousin learn this type of language? Even if you forget about young ones, by religious believes, some of us do not feel comfortable without censorship or at least the effort to do so.

How can words like f_____ help you learn about Linux or computing ? This site is about learning tech related stuff, but we are not here to teach you the ways of life. If you can school me on how offensive and profane words can help me learn about Linux, Private Message me about it please.

Oh and before some of you start expressing how much you hate us for editing posts/signatures:

The administrators will often ask for general input on forum changes, please respect their choices. Moderators will often edit posts as they see fit please respect their choices.
In short, respect the choices admins/mods make. Period.
