They are actually quite nice .
I used to work in Saitama near Tokyo and I thought the area was great
In Japan is there isn't such a big gap between the rich and the poor so the different between the wealthy suburbs and the less wealthy is not as striking as in the US.

that makes sense. so then, what do typical neighborhoods look like near japanese cities? i've seen cities and rural areas, but not anything equivalent to where a japanese version of 'poltergeist' might be filmed. is there just not enough land for such a thing?

reyfer, roppongi hills looks even bigger than hartford and way bigger than raleigh.

i'd love to visit japan. just the food would make the trip worth it.
