Strange. I don't have an adblocker installed and yet I've never seen any ads even when not logged in...

Edit: Doh! I forgot that I have them blocked via my /etc/hosts file. :oops:

adblock is a FF extension. i've never heard of it for konqueror.

again I am well aware the adblock extension in Firefox but this does nothing for those who don't us Firefox, the question is does Konqueror have a adblock plus-like extension?

:lolflag: I never noticed that Ubuntuforums had ads until I saw your screenshot. Funny ads though, some of them don't make a lot of sense to put on this site, such as the Windows server ad.

I think they're great. People who aren't members but want info help raise ca$h for the forums. I think that's a fair trade.

And yes, Konqueror has adblock (at least it does in Kubuntu- you might have to install an extra package if you're using Ubuntu). Just go to Settings->Configure Konqueror->AdBlocK Filters->Enable.

Firefox + noscript + adblock plus = clean internet. I guess its the IE users who pay for the internet by seeing ads now....

Where are the ads suposed to be ? I use firefox come to think of it we all use it so how will we ever see ads ,or maybe I'm thinking about popups. Either way I don't see any.
