I am pleased to announce the launch of Tweako.com today.

Tweako.com is a user-generated website and social network focused solely on technology, computing, and the Internet. Users can share and vote on articles and links that provide help and information in all areas of computing.

If you have a tech blog or website, hurry over now while its not too busy and start submitting your links.

I will let the site itself do the rest of the explaining. It seems to be a perfect site for individuals like yourselves.

Thank you very much guys. That means alot to me.

The site is built on Drupal CMS. I highly recommend it.

I hope you all enjoy it.

Please be patient with the site. It is starting to generate much momentum.

What CMS is that? Pligg?

A few weeks ago I actually wanted to make a site that was almost exactly like this one, but running on top of Pligg.

Everyone else seems to think of these ideas before I do. :/

Haha I am sorry. You can just use mine.

I feel like pligg is too 'cookie-cutter'

But i might be wrong. I have never used it that much. Just messed around with it.

Drupal has extreme flexibility and a massive community. The site has a lot more features than just submission and voting etc too. Theres buddylists, privatemessaging, and the works.

Any more feedback?

Great site, duly bookmarked and Dugg. FWIW, and it's only an opinion, I think that posted links, which obviously take users away from your site, should open in a new tab/window. At least then, people keep your site open too and can quickly get to other sites.

Yes, it is easy to right-click and choose that option and that is already my habit but perhaps it should be the default action. Yes, there are equally relevent arguments against doing this too but, as I said, it's only an opinion/suggestion.

thanks for the feedback.

AlanRogers: I was considering doing that and it is most likely going to be changed.

THANKS AGAIN
