What are your favorite icon themes

Wondering what your favorite icon themes are and where
to find them.

art.gnome.org has some icon sets ...i installed kearones comicons light ...pretty cool:-)

'whatever2' can be found at gnome look. i like the 'human ultra' collection and the first 'inspectormatt' (also at gnome look). for kde, i like 'black+white', OSDark and 'crystal diamond' best (kde look).

NuoveXT is my favorite. It is in the repos IIRC, and I even found a Firefox2 theme at KDElook.org.

my favourites are:
-buuf(one of the most stylish and most complete icons sets out there)
-snowish (nice looking and stylish. goes well with more themes than most)
-gartoon (i think these have a certain character. they are also quite complete)
-glass icons (if only they were more complete)
-jini icons (comes in a range of colours, a very complete, and have a certain charm).
-lila (very complete and look nice)
-nerdy lines (lots of character)
-soviet union (ditto)

all the above can be found at gnome-look and art-gnome.

GarGANTuan (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=24364) icon theme, it's my favourite, without a doubt. (btw, the previews at Gnome Look show nothing worth of notice, you should try it out to really see what it's about)

For a more traditional look, I prefer NuoveXT, as well.

I currently switch between the Tango Icon sets, in varying colours, and i am actually using the the new Nimbus Icon Set from Sun, which is part of the Nimbus Gtk Engine and Theme.

Buuf. It's a cartoonish, but dark and rugged looking theme. Very complete. There's a version of it on gnome-look.org.

i like Eikon best atm mainly because it has more than any other icon set, afaik? what you notice is the detail, so maybe that's why it seems to have more than other sets.

i.e. the gnome weather icons on the panel look much better than other sets, the play, stop, pause etc icons used on some media players are btter than the plain, ordinary looking icons in other themes.

I love the gion icon theme. It's very crisp and clear and the folders have the best design I've ever seen. I've been using the set for about 2 yrs now.

I keep it simple. Theme is modified Clearlooks (I change some colors) and Icon is Mist.

Tango because it is pretty, very complete giving a great consistent experience across the entire desktop. Additionally thy get bonus points for creating a naming standard and providing a reference implementation which is definitely the right approach.
