There is an absolutely wonderful debate on the BBC website on the pros and cons of Windows Vista, plus discussions re how it compares with Linux, particularly Ubuntu and Mac OS.

It really makes me think that I did just the right thing by not putting Vista on my other partition.

I guess what's most important to me is that Vista will lag on my computer and Ubuntu doesn't.

the word "debate" spells trouble IMO. Nice article, I would semi-agree on that and Vista really hasnt made using their system alot easier.
