EDIT: yes, i agree. there are some wonderful cityscapes of hong kong. i used to have one taken from one of the apartment blocks in a hi-rise bulding, and you could see the river and the other apartment blocks on the other side, together with the hills in the background.
honk kong and rio have to be the two cities i most want to visit. my wife said, if i ever went to rio, she'd send a bunch of bodyguards with me to protect me from the trouble i had every intention of getting in.

sugarloaf mountain in rio gives the city a lot of uniqueness. if you went to the wrong area of the city, you would need bodyguards anyway :p
actually, this gives me an idea. a new thread entitled "Places you've always wanted to visit".
there are just so many places that i've love to visit. i've always wanted to go to Thailand. i think there is a mysterious charm about the place with its buddhist temples and vast history.

Great Britain (likely to hit at least Ireland by the year's end), Germany (oh, SO much I want to do there, waiting 'til I've learned a lot more German, though), Finland (during the warmest part of the year, I'm afraid), Japan (Tokyo and then the country side), Australia (need to stash an XB Falcon in my luggage somehow), Egypt (I'm an ancient Egypt geek), and so much more.
There just isn't enough money or time in one solitary life, it seems. Ah, well.

I'd like to visit Europe some day, especially the UK and France. I'd also like to see some of the Far East, maybe Tokyo or Hong Kong. And honestly... I'd like to see Antarctica, too.

England. That's it. That's my goal. Once I go to England, I'm done. I'm saving up for it now, and I'll get enough money in, oh, 10 years.
Can I stay with one of you english folks? We can have an ubuntu party! Make fun of ATI! :)

In the US: Maine.
Don't know why, I've always wanted to see it.
The world:
Italy--Venice and Rome. Australia and New Zeland.
Then I wanna go back to England and tour the rest of the country. And also France. I loved both places when I was there 15 years ago.
