find linux distros at DistroWatch (http://distrowatch.serve-you.net/) and try them. more fun than playing games.

Muck around with new window managers and desktop environments. I downloaded OpenBox for that purpose, but now I use it all the time when I want a distraction-free desktop, plus it's so low-footprint my battery life is actually better on my laptop! :D Plus it's no-risk, your original Beryl or GNOME desktop will still be there.

Have you looked at the linspire CNR tool? I *think* feisty is compatible with i, and I believe that it has a lot of games (both free and not free) that you can install. Hope this helps.

I agree. I was bored a few monthsago and tried OpenSuse, andMandriva, and DamnSmall Linux, and a few others. it was lots of fun to see how the other distributions do it... I always come back to Ubuntu too.

If you're really bored, try some development, or help write some documentation. Help out the community, or start installing Ubuntu for your friends. It's lots of fun.

Try games outside the repositories :D (Search Linux Game Tome for example).

Try Open Arena or TA Spring.

Also, when I'm bored, I go on a porn download spree.

Drink 2 gallons of mountain dew, and try seeing how many text files on your computer you can read, before you have to go to the bathroom

(sry for asking so stupid questions)You could download and test other distros....I have tested and used over 300 distros....great way to pass the time and do extensive Linux research simultaneously.
