I'm new to linux and I am trying to find an rss reader that works for me. I have many rss feeds and I am trying to create a series of filters to filter out posts with combinations of key words in them. IE all posts with "chicken feet" and "llamas".

I've tried both liferea and akregator.

Liferea lets me filter through its Vfolders but that lets me only filter out consecutive words. If I add in another rule on a Vfolder it just adds more results to the Vfolder.

Akregator as far as I can tell only has the quickfilter search which will also only look for consecutive words.

Am I missing something here? This seems like it should be standard in a rss program. Any suggestions for other rss programs I can try?

Thanks!

If sorting, searching, and and filtering is what you want, look no further than BlogBridge (http://www.blogbridge.com).
