Some of you might already be aware of this project, but, I feel now is the time to remind people of it's presence.

What we do:
We basically fetch how-to's and tips from the Tips and Tutorials Section (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=100) of the forums, and wikify them. 90% of the information on the wiki is from that section of the forums.

In recent times, however, attention to the UDSF has slipped, and we need dedicated people who can spare 1 or 2 hours a week of their spare time to help us keep it up-to-date and maintain it.

I am one of the UDSF's key admins, and we have a couple of other people on here who help us out.
We are after people who really feel that they can spare sometime on a regular basis to help us maintain it, and not people who might do one item then lose interest.
If you are genuinely interested in helping out, please message me or Frodon (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=23970).
Please do not ask why there are two ubuntu wikis - this issue has been discussed in depth many, many times before, and does not need discussing any further.

The Wiki can be found at:

So, is there no-one willing to help?

We need 4 good people, with a level of commitment right at this time.

Ubuntu Wiki is the official one and this one is a third party project.
