I don't understand why the U.S.A. would do something like this for a monopoly like Microsoft, but go figure... You all might not know this but here, XML Patent for Microsoft (http://news.zdnet.co.uk/software/applications/0,39020384,39200357,00.htm) :-x How does this affect Linux in general?
