Gui fications for gaim

i can get my guification working for gaim 1.5.* in ubuntu 6.06
But they are not working in the gaim 2.0.0*beta in ubuntu 6.10
I even tried compiling from source .. but it strucksup some where.
Is there a solution?

can you please tell the exact versions of both Gaim & Guifications .
In my case
Gaim version : Gaim 2.0.0beta6
Guifications version : Guifications 2.13beta6

and let me know , what did you get when you click on Plugin Details selecting the Guification plugin.

You got to click on tools>plugins and turn it on.

I'm using Guifications 2.13 beta 6 with the Gaim 2.0.0beta6. It works fine for me.
