Hi,

I am using Anjuta IDE for GTK+ programming. When I compile the program it says

compilation....successfull

When I build the same application it says it is unable to find any library and a huge list of errors,

Are there some changes to be made ??

Also I am unable to use "make" even from the command prompt. I always get the error

Makefile:****. stop.

Any ideas on these one too ??

thanks for your replies and suggestions

Did you tell it what libraries you're using?

What version of Anjuta are you using?

I would try installing it from Synaptic, unless you need the absolute latest version. Compiling programs on Ubuntu will cause many headaches later (dpkg and tgz don't mix well).

I spent about a week making the latest version of Anjuta compile (2.0.11 or somesuch), then found that it had less features (or they were all hidden) than 1.2.4a, which it seems the Ubuntu developers have gone back to in Feisty.
