For those or you old enough to remember them the first time around....

In pictures: Commodore computers (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6454113.stm)

I get a twinge of nostalgia every time I see that “C” logo.

Don't post things like that. I'm like the grieving 'widow' that lost my other halve but the body was never found, always hoping for her return.

I wish they would just bury the amiga for good even though I still think it was the best thing ever to hit the computer industry.

No, not the bin please.

Check out the vintage computer websites, I'm sure there is a collector out there that will gladly take it off your hands ;)

I love those pictures, especially picture #6 (PITSTOP 2!!) and picture #7 (IMPOSSIBLE MISSION! "Stay a while... stay foreverrrrrr!")

I grew up on Commodore 64, I think it's really what got me into computers in the first place... heh, I like the way they're bringing the logo back.

Im sorry but the only collectors i could find were in america (which would cost a lot to ship it to) and even then they were offering about $5-20 for one. (any other ideas of where to flog it are appreciated!)

Probably won't have their own OS, just a pre-builed gaming machine intended for Vista.

From what I could tell, they come with Vista pre-installed.

Put a note in the Community Market (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=38) and offer it at the cost of shipping. There has to be another chickenhead around here somewhere that will give it a home. I'd take it, but I have a stack of stuff that has to find a new home before May.

But never, never put it in the bin, friend. ... :(

It would be nice if AmigaOS 4 could run on these.

I had a Commodore 128 with a Warp Speed module. :P :guitar:
