you know that thing that shows the cpu and wheater and if you have mail and your bandwith and disk use. that bar thing that sets on the right of the desktop.

is there somthing like that for windows ......

try konfabulator it's pretty nice i just wish they would make a linux version.

i've tired gdesklets it works pretty good but it seems to have some issues with my computer it always freezing up so i just stopped using it but i dont mind it's just a little less eye candy :)

Don't mean to be an idiot, but isn't this the Community Chat where anything goes? It's a good honest question about if windows has something like linux does. What's wrong with it?

Hmm, well pointed out, and yes this is a GNU/Linux Community, but of course the following link does show Windows Support.

I think it has it's fair in a small limit, don't you?

Edit: I also find this to be a fair post due to the user already being a member of the forums, also this user could be grubbing windows. He just asked a question with a backbone of linux added to it.

You should definately get Samurize (www.samurize.com), it's a fully customisable WYSIWYG editor that can display almost anything you want in the way you want. There are loads of great configs already avaliable for download, and lots of extensions too. Get it and be happy :).
