I use my desktop computer mostly for schoolwork and web browsing.

Internet browsing (including email), the occasional chat here and there, music (as in listening to it and importing/deleting/maintaining my Sansa player), watch a DVD if I'm ever super bored... I got this nifty new printer so I don't have to use my flash drive to and from school to print school papers, so there is that too.

100% IRC
100% IM/Skype
(those 2 only because i'm ALWAYS on IM, Skype and IRC and i always have IRC on the 2nd monitor, so i can always glance over and see IRC)
but really:

20% movies/videos
20% music

At work, the first 2 are the same but it's about:
50% work
30% web browsing
20% music
