Not quite sure where i should ask this, so ill ask it here.

Just how dangerous is it to install badger onto my machine at the moment? I guess what im asking is "is it just going to crash every so often, and somethings are not going to work or is my hard drive going to start spewing forth smoke and everything i ever held dear be destroyed?" If its the first i can live with it, the second, not so much.

paz y amor,
-rjs.

btw, why does it go straight from 1 cup of Ubuntu (at 49 posts) to 5 cups of Ubuntu (at 50 posts)?

Pretty dangerous :)

I'd suggest waiting for colony 2 at least. The Colony releases should be free of show-stopper bugs, so you'll want to be careful when to upgrade after installing the colony.

But no matter what, there's no guarantee that your hard drive won't start spewing smoke ;)

I couldnt find anything on the wiki about colonies. What are they, and what is a very rough guess at when colony 2 might be out? June, july, august, september...?

I want to do something good for the community by beta testing, but at the same time i need a machiene that is vaguely usable.
