programming practicing sites?

are there any sites that allow you to solve problems of various difficulty grades and upload them to be compiled and see if you've done them righht? i'd appreciate if somebody gives me some links :)

Look around the wiki, more links to more sites with learning opportunities (including data structures)Sorry no upload/compare/grade facilities. Site is for Python learners, but you can solve tasks in any language you want. :-)

BTW IMSNHO C++ is rather poor choice for first language, but it is up to you. Good luck.
