but you said _Render_ that is a blender 3d term not a blender kitchen applience term. you don't render your soft fruit in yogart you smooth it or perhaps blend it. but render no thats what you do to small animals in pvc glue.

blender
noun an electrically powered mixer with whirling blades that mix or chop or liquefy foods http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=blender

render- /ˈrɛnhttp://cache.lexico.com/dictionary/graphics/luna/thinsp.pngdər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ren-der] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –verb (used with object) 1.to cause to be or become; make: to render someone helpless. 2.to do; perform: to render a service. 3.to furnish; provide: to render aid. 4.to exhibit or show (obedience, attention, etc.). 5.to present for consideration, approval, payment, action, etc., as an account. 6.to return; to make (a payment in money, kind, or service) as by a tenant to a superior: knights rendering military service to the lord. 7.to pay as due (a tax, tribute, etc.). 8.to deliver formally or officially; hand down: to render a verdict. 9.to translate into another language: to render French poems into English. 10.to represent; depict, as in painting: to render a landscape. 11.to represent (a perspective view of a projected building) in drawing or painting. 12.to bring out the meaning of by performance or execution; interpret, as a part in a drama or a piece of music. 13.to give in return or requital: to render good for evil. 14.to give back; restore (often fol. by back). 15.to give up; surrender. 16.Building Trades. to cover (masonry) with a first coat of plaster. 17.to melt down; extract the impurities from by melting: to render fat. 18.to process, as for industrial use: to render livestock carcasses. –verb (used without object) 19.to provide due reward. 20.to try out oil from fat, blubber, etc., by melting. –noun 21.Building Trades. a first coat of plaster for a masonry surface.http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=render

anyway if you don't get the joke which is for pure entertainment purposes, I would say you need to lighten up...

I am well aware of the usage of blender render...my title is intentional, otherwise the entertainment factor would be zero.....

The man put his iPod in a blender and rendered it useless, while this was entertaining he did in fact create a blender render.

if you are at all confused that confusion was cleared up upon watching the video.

much like the Sabayon HowTo video thread/poll I posted

That makes about as much sense as if I were to post a topic 'post your best microwave create' it's such a grammatical stretch because your trying to use a motion towards as a verb; I'm going to have to throw you out of English class, it's also confusing with a technical term and an open source project pertinent to this forum.

Obviously I've got a rod up my back side, but I have a rod up my back side so I don't care ;-)

It's funny what blends, but it's almost as good to see what doesn't blend. They tried to blend a Nintendo. That thing was sturdy. By the way I think they even blended 42, but the video imploded the universe so they deleted it (the video that is, not the universe).

would love to see that video:)Well then here you are.

I saw this last fall and forgot it wasn't that actual blendtech guys. It's a radio station (95.5 WBRU) that bought a blendtech and blended stuff. These guys are blender rookies compared to the real blendtech guy.

The video is about 7 minutes long, but still kind of funny. The Wii takes a serious beating. Just a warning there is some swearing in the video (they drop the f-bomb a few times) so if that offends don't clicky the link.
