Yes! The tax season is coming!

I am international student in NY, USA.

Our university uses Cintax for non-US resident students to handle Federal tax.
Please see http://www.cintax.us/

Cintax is an online form-fill-in helper (you need to print and send the forms)

In the instruction, it did not mention that Linux users could use it (it said only MS and Mac). And it required the JavaScript on for Firefox.

However, I am a Ubuntu user and I need to do it.

Generally, I had no problem doing the tax job on Ubuntu, except a trouble (or bug?)

For example, I needed to choose Yes or No for Q1. If I choose Yes, I needed to answer Q2 with a multiple-choice menu. When I answered No, and then I clicked the Q2 menu. Something wrong coming! There was a warning window "You answer No in Q1 and you do not need to answer Q2" I closed the warning window, but it came again again again....... Around 30-50 clicks, finally it stopped showing.

After a while, I tried it again on new questions. And the warning window coming again! This time I had more than 50 clicks to stop the endless warning windows. However, I did the job and sent the document back.

I hope this post is useful for new Ubuntu users who worry about online tax program.

Sincerely
