...but quite impressed so far.

I've not had chance to install it yet as I need to get a new HD, I've just tried the live version.

Before I start going off asking technical questions (and i'm sure there will be a few in the comming weeks as I'm not very experienced with Linux) I have a non technical question that is bugging me a bit, as I can't seem to find an answer either searchin here or on google.

I've seen the acronym SABDFL used in conjunction with Mark Shuttleworth. but what does SABDFL actually stand for?

Sorry if this is stupid.

Cheers,
Dan.

Welcome to the community :)

SABDFL = Self Appointed Benevolent Dictator For Life. It's just a little joke seeing as he put the money on the table for ubuntu :-P

That and of course he does have a big say I imagine, and probably the final word in many cases, on what goes into ubuntu. But we like our benevolent dictator round here. ;-)
