still no mms or rtsp support? I hate to see such a powerful tool still not have features that most download clients had by 1999. these protocols might be outdated by the time wget supports them.

Don't know if wget will ever get mms support. It is GNU software and they might not want to implement a feature based on a Microsoft patent. But there are other tools avaiable.
wgetpro or mimms. Or you can use mplayer.

i believe wget does one thing and it does it well...and i use it literally every day...if you want to do something it can't, use a different client, that simple

terrible grammatical error in the title, sorry.
i'd rather not waste memory by having a bunch of different clients that do practically the same exact thing. these are not different tasks, like playing video vs playing audio.
