I am in need of a standalone bug tracking tool, non-web-based, which is written for the GTK2+ interface. The preferred database platform would be SQLite because it's quick and easy.

It merely needs to let me categorize the bugs at least 3 levels deep (app name + version + bug type), the bug status, put a short title and recreation steps, notes field, and the ability to sort by different columns. So far I've been using a spreadsheet and it's like too much information on the screen.

I would whip up something in XUL (with xulrunner) and SQLite but I'm a bit busy right now.

I'm looking for the same thing and the main one I have found is Trac (http://trac.edgewall.org/). It seeems horrendously complicated to install though...

Ah, my original post was from 2005. Eventually I settled on ActiveCollab back in 2007. Seems to suit me just fine. It's not GTK based, but web-based, but works okay for most of my needs.
