Does anyone know the name that Asterix became with the new owners?

It's been awhile since I've installed Asterisk/OpenSER but last I checked it was still Asterisk. The website is still there FWIW.

Well Asterix was started by a Digium employee. All the code is open source so I don't see how anyone really 'owns' it.

I had heard that it was bought out but was still open source. From what I have heard it is now even simpler to set up and use. I thought I would try to set it up.

That would be AsterixNow in the second link I posted. It's the OS, Asterix, GUI all rolled into one easily installable CD.
