Hi all,

So, I was glad to meet some of you guys at Ubucon. The con has me hyped
again for getting this team off the ground and rolling.

We can have another irc meeting, but what I really want to do is meet in
person. Depending upon where people are, we can have 2 meetings (one in
north jersey, one in south). Let me know if you're up for it, what days
would be good for you (friday and saturday for me), when and where, and
if you have ideas for what we could do.

Once again, please subscribe to the mailing list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-us-nj) and hang out in #ubuntu-us-nj . If we all are in one place, we can actually start planning this stuff!

Hello all! I am a long-time computer buff but a first(ish) time linux user. i've tried several times in the past and given up. this time i am DETERMINED to become bilingual before the Vistapocolypse...

Unfortunately i am not just a n00b, but i'm the only computer savvy person amongst my friends. it would definitely be cool to meet some knowledgeable peeps to help me along in this strange new world. don't get me wrong, the forums are great, but its always nice to meet new people.
