Am I the only one to experience difficulties trying to connect to http://www.bu.edu from a Linux machine? I initially figured it might be a router/firewall problem but I tried on multiple Linux distributions and computers and none are able to load up the site.

Some of those Linux computers are dual booted with Windows and when I boot into Windows and visit the site, everything loads up fine. Can any other Ubuntu or Linux user attempt to connect to that site and provide their results of either yes or no?

works fine -
ubuntu 6.06, firefox 1.5

the site is heavy on Flash - maybe that's part of your problem with it ?

Ouch, it's a good thing I only concluded a possibility. Anyone have any suggestions as to what may be bogging down this connection between my computer and their server? If I load up Windows on this computer, everything is fine.

Adobe Flash Player 9 is installed on all my Linux computers and have been working fine.
