how many cds i need... [Archive]

it says it going to ship 10 cds.... how many do i realy need? one?

I assume you are referring to the free CD's from Ubuntu.

The Distribution is contained on one disk. If you are receiving ten the give the extras to friends and family and share the good news that is Ubuntu.

im downloading the live cd now.

about 2 years ago i was installing suse pro 9.1 on one of my computers and it wiped windows xp off. and then it would not support my USB wif fi card and i was offline for 9 months... i have looked at Fedora and demoin? and im going to try to use Ubuntu.

hmm if it was usb wifi? in 9 months couldnt you run a network cable or somthing man,,,, 9 months an aweful long time to be offline, scary for me to think about.
