This professional virtualisation software is now GPL2 and thus free and without limitation and it is really more powerful and easy to use than VMware, Qemu and so on.

Here are the first screenshots of it running vista into ubuntu :

This will for sure helps linux to grow, we now have a real alternative to VMware and Qemu !

You will find there the dapper and edgy packages here :

Thanks just in time as I was trying to get qemu to work. This works very well in edgy and is not as slow as I expected.
Hopefully the deb will make its way into the repos soon.

Does anyone use qemu-launcher (gtk frontend to qemu). How does it compare to virtualbox?

Not sure if it also supports VirtualBox, but there is VMGL (http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~andreslc/vmgl/).
