I was just wondering if anybody knows what has happened to the latest newsletter (#30). It was meant to be out on the 4th. I can't seem to find any posts on the forum about it.

To be honest, I do know much about the delay. It's been advertised in #ubuntu-marketing. I'm also waiting for it, as I get to translate it in French with other translators ;)

Hello,
some members of the team have been unavailable. It's still in gobby for final edition. It should be released soon. Sorry for not being more specific, I'm checking too (I get to write in it and I'm in the French translating team).

Can we look at it in Gobby? I've played with gobby a little, but only a little. Does Gobby offer a read only mode? What server is used? Just curious. Thanks.

I've never edited the UWN in Gobby. I actually write in the Wiki page before it gets into final edition.

The French translation team I'm part of uses Gobby to translate it, so I have been using Gobby a lot. I'll check about read only mode, I do not remember seeing that.
Basically, there is a chat window, to discuss with others, and an edition window where anyone can write (color coded).

Back in December, we (French translators) could not access the UWN gobby server anymore. So one of us set up a server at home and we have been using it since then. I'll check tonight about UWN server (my work proxy does not allow these type of connections).
