Which Ubuntu version is your main OS?

Can I vote twice? My server is Dapper and my desktop is Edgy. I never sit at the server but it does a lot more work than the desktop.

Unfortunately no multiple choice, I am actually interested to know which version you use as your main machine i.e. the machine you use to do most things.

Kubuntu 6.10

But I might switch to Freespire when they release 2.0 if it gets good reviews.

Xubuntu 6.10. I've also had a custom 2.6.18 kernel on it.

6.10 on laptop (which I type on the most) and on my mythboxes/servers (which are busy the most). and 6.10 on my personal desktop. Probably won't upgrade the mythboxes to feisty when it comes out, but I will upgrade the laptop and personal desktop. Thinking about trying out dreamlinux on the personal desktop, however.

Xubuntu 6.10.

7.04 should also be an option.

Using 6.1 on my notebook, plan to install feisty this weekend as second OS and see which remains.

Since I didn't know any better at the time, I downloaded and installed Edgy for the very first distro I ever installed on my computer(s) And I've just stuck with it.

I probably will switch to Feisty, but I'll wait a few months after it's been out to make sure some of the bugs have been worked out...

Fiesty. It's surprisingly stable for me.

Kubuntu 6.10, though I really use Gentoo on my primary but figured that wouldn't be an option :p

Fiesty has been awkwardly stable, with tons of updates that don't visibly do anything (although the usplash looks really nice). Right now I'm using Feisty as my main, edgy as my secondary.

Ubuntu Dapper on my P4 laptop (ran Breezy before which was actually better for battery & fan here :-)). Fluxbuntu on my TP 600e (was running Xubuntu + Fluxbox, but then moved directly to Fluxbuntu).

Kubuntu 6.10. I've always preferred KDE.

I'm another edgy user. Not had any big issues with it. Everythings easy to set up and runs smoothly. Might try Feisty at some point, but will probably wait till its release.

I use edgy on my workstation at work, dapper and edgy on some servers for our company and my personal ones, and feisty on my laptop for which I use for development and doesn't contain anything valuable (it is really just a fancy terminal).

I am pleased with feisty and will be looking forward to the final release of it.

I'm using Kubuntu Dapper 6.06... I'm not really feeling any pressing urges to upgrade it at this point although I've been considering it.

Someone missed off 7.04 from the poll :(

PartisanEntity

Has 7.04 been officially released? I thought it was still in development, hence I did not include it in the poll.

Nevertheless, that is what we are using. So 7.04 *should* have been included. I can't look at the results and say they are valid, otherwise.

I use Edgy right now. I may update to Feisty Fawn though sometime, when it's proven stable and stuff. It looks great.

I have the same situation: Dapper on the server, Edgy on desktops (three different ones). I voted for Edgy.

And: where is Feisty, I'am running this also in a test environment, nevertheless, it still counts as one.
