I must say some of these notebooks seem ideal for linux.
nVidia 7600 go 512MB GPU
NO windows
Intel wireless
7200rpm hitachi drive
core 2 due
Each model has different spec levels you can customise to.
I wish we could get them here in SA.

I run Edgy only on my Znote 6214W and everything works out of the box except wireless.
With the proprietary Nvidia driver hibernate stops working as well

And I'm allergic to System76.
I already have a laptop. I just thought I would let others know about Zepto as they seem pretty cool.

i thought the same, and i have the 6214w. its a great notebook, and everything works, except ACPI which is a major MAJOR downer. i would actually advise against this laptop because of it. booting without the power in is hit and miss. suspend is awful.
a real shame, coz i love this laptop. it looks and performs awesomely

Is there no fix for the ACPI issue, surely someone must have fixed it by now ?

ill keep you posted when feisty is released, but so far nothing works
when i *first* applied the suspend2 kernel patch it would suspend with about 70% reliability, but since then something has caused it to degrade to 0%

this is mostly why Sys76 seems to be pushing the intel graphics adaptors in most of its offerings.
