I need a Kubuntu commercial!!! (VIDEO)

Hi there,

I've found a way to gain great attention to the kubuntu distro (ubuntu as well, but I'm a K-guy :D)

I have a monitor turned to the sidewalk in my shop, currently showing our products! - But I would like to show commercials about *ubuntu...

...my only problem is that I can't find such a video/slideshow anywhere!

I've tried contacting the marketing team, canonical, you name it! - Without that much luck! - It really shouldn't be that hard to get stuff like that!

I've not contacted KDE yet, since the commercials should be about the distro, not the DE... IMO!

Can any of you guys help here?

well that's great. the only problem is that ubuntu doesn't yet have a commercial. you can still put some kind of a picture slide show or you can go here (http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=ubuntu) and then using these (https://addons.mozilla.org/search.php?q=video+downloader&type=A&app=firefox) firefox plugins save the movies and put them on the screen :D

Well, I don't have the time, nor the skills to do this!

I've already gone through lots of videos on google, youtube etc... and they don't cover being a commercial... I'm not interested in howto's, beryl things and stuff... Simply a VIDEO showing the benefits of *ubuntu, making people interested...

I don't really know! - People in Denmark wouldn't pay attention to 2 people sitting in a couch, I'm afraid!

Besides, I would rather like to show people the OS, not the people behind it... (at least not primarily!)

May I suggest a video of Beryl running? That's definitely a head-turner.

I have thought of that too... But I can't seem to find a video in a good quality! (A least 1024x768, and a long meaningfull video...)

I've been thinking of something like this:

"Do you know Linux?" (Shown in a good looking box in the middle of the screen)

* Video showing a terminal executing a lot of commands... (10-20 sec)

"Linux is for geeks!" (Shown in a good looking box in the middle of the screen)

* Video showing OOo, Amarok, <Your favourite app here> (30-60 sec)

I guess making a video of Beryl isn't that hard, but putting in the other elements could be!

I'm not good at this at all! :( - I'm looking for a qualified artist to do this!

Make a beryl video play it than fullscreen in loop overnight -- next day you will find the entrance with camping windows users :)
