http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/consult/open-consultations/ondemand_services.html

They are curently holding a consultation on there 'on-demand' video service, the current proposel would require the use of a microsoft opperating system and closed video formats including the use of DRM on content.
Let them know that this in unacceptable and that the BBC (a 'public service' broardcaster) should be making the content it is holding in trust for the public as freely available as possable. They already use either WMA or RM formats exclusivly for videos. Remember, if you are a licence payer you partialy own the BBCs content. They need to remember that they are supposed to be impartial and act in the public intrest, they do not rely on sale of programs and advertision of external companys for funding, they don't OWN the content they produce an many ways, you the licence payer does!
