With all the excellent free resources here in Forums and around the web, it's hard to go without support. But alas, although books and mags aren't free, it's nice to hold something in your hand on the subway or on an errand to the toilet. So what are your favorite publications?

I've liked:

1: Linux Format mag. (UK -a bit pricey here in the US)

2: Ubuntu Hacks (book)

3: The Official Ubuntu Book (good place to start)

Whats your flavor?

If you want to get a little deeper in your understanding of Linux itself, these are excellent:

Running Linux -- I think every user should read this one!!!
Linux in a Nutshell (more of a command reference, really)
Linux Power Tools
Unix Power Tools
