Hello
Where can we get free relaxation music, music that helps us relax/sleep?
I want it in preferrably free software format like ogg or matroska.
Please answer.

Hello drfalkor
That's good,but it doesn't make me relax/fall asleep.
And it was too sharp, and had a voice.
I want something without a voice that is relaxing and soft.
Please answer me.

Jamendo has lots of music (all free to download/share) and all albums are offered in OGG format:
http://www.jamendo.com/en/

There are many different tags... (such as "relax (http://www.jamendo.com/en/tag/relax/)")... hopefully you can find some that are suitably relaxing.

Pandora.com is a good site for all types of music. An artist by the name of Anour Brahem is amazing. Check him out if you have time.

When I was younger, me and a cousin used to play one of Enigma's CDs on repeat. I had some of the best nights of sleep.

Delerium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delerium) is also very good for this.

"Karma" is simply awesome here is the Official Delerium page from Nettwerk. (http://www.nettwerklabel.com/artist.jsp?artist_id=3)

Here's an artist I recently discovered: Steven Cravis. He's an amazing pianist and I find his music to be always relaxing.

You can listen for free to some of his songs (20 or so) on music.download.com. Here's the full URL: http://music.download.com/stevencravis/3600-8498_32-100078736.html?tag=MDL_listing_song_artist

You need a Flash plug-in to listen to the songs.

Personal page: www.stevencravis.com

Also, try the New Age channel on www.SKY.fm - it's 24/7 on, at 96 kbps (128 kbps for subscribers)

I would have to agree, Dark Side of the Moon is a great album to relax/sleep to.

I would also suggest Sigur Ros. yes, there are vocals but it's all in Icelandic so unless you understand what they are saying, its all just soothing nonsense.

AGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like I'm listen to a thousand fighting cats in heat tied together in a Metal trash can turned upside down on a concrete casket, while they are scratching their nails across a chalkboard....the guitars are pretty cool atleast on "Life Tomorrow"....please make it stop before I jump out the window!!

very relaxing since when I hit the pavement from 10 floors up I would be dead...I guess dead is very relaxing and you would have no problem sleeping then

The nocturnes composed by Chopin is great. They are, after all, nocturnes, and Chopin is, after all, one of the best composer every born.
