Hi all

My friend and I disagree in that question:

żDoes dialog command creates graphical user interfaces?

He says that no.

I know that yes.

Could you open his eyes? (or tell me that am wrong)

Dialog is not a GUI because it uses characters and not vector/raster graphics to display information. It is a TUI (Textual User Interface) similar to the DOS Shell.

I think that both of the above points appear valid. I guess it hinges on the definition of GUI and whoever has the honor of writing the definition.
