In the next few days and weeks to follow, it's a given that Vista will be on the television news and featured in popular press. Now is the time for us to inform our local media outlets about the free choice that exists: Ubuntu Linux. I encourage each and every reader here to contact their local media and kindly tell them about Ubuntu with a short E-mail, snail mail, and/or phone call. In all communications with the media, please be kind, patient, and honest. Tell them of your interest in Ubuntu and how it works for you, how it will benefit others and why they should run a story on it.
Please share any example form letters posted directly to this thread, suitable for others to send, including some of the informative links below in this post and/or links you feel may be useful (please, official *buntu links only, no blogs or vanity sites, spam, etc.). It only takes a moment to write an E-mail, and your voice counts. Together we can better inform our local media to the better and free alternative: Ubuntu.
