Maybe you all have read this already, but just in case:

I found it sort of amusing...

A very apt view on business's views on Linux, and funny as well :)

It is funny, though of course if he was actually a Linux geek, that would be the first and only thing he would talk about.

It reminds me of my favourite work-related cartoon (I'm a salesperson). General Custer is in his tent, saying to his aid "I can't see any salespeople now, I'm fighting a battle'. Through the tent flap behind Custer we can see the salesperson and his product - a machine gun.

It often seems to me a lot of businesses are in this position - too busy fixing Windows issues to look at the transition to Linux, which would solve those problems once & for all.

Would that be

apt-get install upper-management-idiocy
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: You may not install package "upper-management-idiocy" if you can use the CLI

I sent this to an IT Manager friend of mine who's so evangelistic about Microsoft in general that you'd think Bill paid him personally, in cash. Because I'm playing with one of those toy operating systems (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=2058120&postcount=56), I'm the devil incarnate! :D

Did anybody see Dilbert.com (http://www.dilbert.com/comics/dilbert/archive/images/dilbert2007114666019.gif) on 19 October 2007? My friend and I have differing opinions about the last phrase of Wally. I mean the phrase 'I'm almost halfway done'. I think that cunning Wally says about his coffee. There are two mugs of it in the picture. His chief understands his words as half of the work at the same time. On the contrary, my friend thinks that Wally talks about his work. Who is right? What do you think about it?

I think Wally is halfway done watching YouTube videos (and halfway done boosting his morale). He watched videos from 'morning until dusk' and the significance of the two coffee mugs is that he is going to be up all night doing the other half.
