Hi!
I read to day that KDE 4 will get a tool to gather Applications which are "in progress" to provide better overview to these.

What do u think will GNOME come along with something similar?
I think thats very nice idea!

GNOME has been working on a very similar project for some time, and it is hoped that the two projects will be interoperable (more details on this at the link above :))
I've really liked the idea since I first saw the mockup on kde-look, and am very pleased that someone is implementing it :)

It might very well be interoperable, since it will be working with D-Bus. KDE 4 will be implementing a lot of freedesktop.org specs for maximum interoperability. Let's keep our fingers crossed. :D
